WU Fulai
Vice Chair of the University Council
Professor WU Fulai was born in January 1965. He holds a PhD in Philosophy and is a member of the Communist Party of China. WU is the Vice Chairperson of the University Council, RUC. He is also a Researcher at the Center for Ethical Studies, a MOE National Key Research Bases for Humanities and Social Sciences. He was selected as one of the Hundred Talents in Social Sciences in the 21st Century by the Beijing Municipal Government.
His main research areas are Party building, ideological and political education, traditional Chinese ethics and contemporary moral construction. He is the chief editor of the Research Series on the Theory and Practice of Social Ethics in Contemporary China, and the History of Ideological and Moral Construction of the Communist Party of China. He has published more than ten books, including The Theory of Righteous Destiny (sole author) and Research on Credit Ethics (co-author), and more than forty papers, including The Source of Xi Jinping's Thought on Leadership and An Analysis of the Characteristics of the New Type of Higher Education Founded by the CPC during the War Period. He has presided over multiple major projects such as Research on the Basic Theoretical Issues of Strengthening the Party's Political Construction and Research on the System Construction of the Network Collective Preparation Platform for Ideological and Political Theory Courses in National Colleges and Universities.
