On April 21, 2024, The Second Forum in Constructing China's Autonomous Knowledge System of Business Administration Alliance, themed "Develop New Productive Forces to Promote High-Quality Development of Enterprises", sponsored by Renmin Business School, was held on at Renmin University of China.

Lin Shangli, President of Renmin University of China, and Liu Jingzhen, Chair of China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation, attended the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered speeches. Zheng Shuiquan, Vice Chair of the University Council, presided over the opening ceremony of the forum.

Lin Shangli stated that the theme of this forum is "Developing New Productive Forces to Promote High-Quality Development of Enterprises", aiming to support the development of productive forces and promote the construction of China's autonomous knowledge system in the field of business administration. Also, it’s a necessary step to deepen the practice of administration innovation. He said, the administration theories should always keep the right direction and empower the community to form a system of Chinese characteristics.

Liu Jingzhen expressed that China urgently needs a set of business administration theories that are suitable for its national conditions and can guide the accelerated development of new productive forces. This will promote the leap and transformation of laborers, labor resources, labor objects, and their optimized combinations. Hopefully this forum will effectively integrate resources from all parties, form a strong synergistic effect through collaborative cooperation, and positively influence the progress of the business administration discipline.

The report session was chaired by Xuan Tianying, Chair of Renmin Business School Council. Six guests presented new topics, new directions, new achievements and new thoughts in their respective fields, elaborating from different perspectives on how to construct an autonomous knowledge system through the discipline of business administration. 

After the report session, the release conference of “Constructing China’s Autonomous Knowledge System of Business Administration” was held. Outstanding original theoretical achievements of 8 alliance members were released. Zhang Jin, Vice Dean of Renmin Business School, presided over the release conference.
