[Speaker]Yu Xiaohua

Professor and Chair of Agricultural Economics in Developing and Transition Countries at the University of Göttingen, Germany, and Distinguished Research Fellow at the Yangtze Institute for Economic Research. After earning dual Ph.D. degrees in Agricultural Economics and Demography from Pennsylvania State University in the United States in 2009, he joined the University of Göttingen, where he has since served as a faculty member. His primary research interests include agricultural economics, machine learning, and economic history.
