Beijing hosts 2025 China in Sight Global Insight Forum

On Sep 12, the 2025 "China in Sight Global Insight" Forum, was held in Beijing, themed High-Quality Cooperation for Global Peace, Stability and Development. More than 200 global political leaders, think tank scholars, and representatives from the business community engaged in in-depth discussions around the forum's theme.

Ma Hui, co-chair of the Council of the Belt and Road Think Tank Cooperation Alliance, stated that recurring conflict is not humanity's destiny, and that peace, stability, and development represent the right path forward. High-quality cooperation is an inevitable requirement of a shared future for mankind, calling for mutual trust, joint contribution, and shared benefits.

Zhang Donggang, secretary of the CPC Committee, Renmin University of China, emphasized that the university is committed to working with all parties to gain deeper insights into the vitality and momentum of Chinese modernization, and promote in-depth dialogue and mutual learning between China and the rest of the world.

International political leaders attending the forum expressed expectations to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation with China under frameworks such as the Belt and Road Initiative, and to work together toward a community with a shared future for mankind.

Participants praised China's developmental achievements and their significant role in empowering global growth and prosperity. They observed that the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, Global Civilization Initiative, and Global Governance Initiative promote mutually beneficial international cooperation from different dimensions, inject strong certainty and positive momentum into a turbulent world, and contribute to global peace and stability.

During the forum, RUC launched its International Observer Program, which aims to establish a global observer network covering major international organizations, countries, and economies. It will produce in-depth analytical reports to contribute to reform and development of the global governance system. The first batch of 48 projects has been approved, covering organizations such as the United Nations, the OECD, ASEAN, the International Monetary Fund, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
