Renmin University of China (RUC) has been enrolling international students since 1952 and was among the first universities in China to do so.

More than 200 world-renowned scholars and distinguished guests have been awarded honorary doctorates, honorary professorships, or adjunct professorships.

In 2025, RUC offers 30 undergraduate programs for international students, covering its key disciplines, including theoretical and applied economics, law, sociology, journalism and communication, philosophy, political science, business administration, agricultural and forestry economics and management, public administration and information resource management. Among these programs, the Global BBA is taught entirely in English.
