Since I began learning Chinese four years ago, I often heard stories about the Great Wall from my teachers. Now that I have the opportunity to study in China and join the Great Wall visit organized by the International Students Office of Renmin University of China, I felt truly excited. Being able to climb the magnificent Great Wall together with classmates from all around the world and stand at the top overlooking the scenery gave me a sense of exhilaration and accomplishment. During this trip, I met many international friends and created my first precious memories in Beijing, and I also came to understand that hard work will eventually lead to rewards.
