Speaker: Liu Yue
Liu Yue is a professor and a doctoral supervisor at the School of International Trade and Economics at the Central University of Finance and Economics. He holds a PhD in Economics from Tsinghua University and has been a visiting scholar at Emory University and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
His research focuses on international economics, economic growth and development and the digital economy. His publications have appeared in journals such as Management Science, Review of International Economics, Economics Letters, Economic Modelling, Applied Economics, The World Economy, Quantitative Economics and Technical Economics Research and Economic Science.
Speaker: Soumen Banerjee
Soumen Banerjee is an associate professor at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE), working in mechanism design and implementation theory. He received his PhD from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2022 and has published in Theoretical Economics and IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications. His work has also been presented at numerous conferences, most recently at EC'25 held at Stanford University. He combines theoretical work with practical considerations, attempting to bring established theory to practical issues.
