Wang Xiaohu, born in March 1975, holds a Master's degree in Economics and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee of Renmin University of China (RUC) and the Vice President of RUC. He is also a Research Fellow.

Wang has previously served as the Assistant to the President of RUC, the Executive Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the Suzhou Campus of RUC, the Dean of the International College (Suzhou Research Institute) of RUC, the Sino-French Institute of RUC, and the School of Smart Governance of RUC, the Director of the Security Department of the CPC Committee of RUC, the Director of the Office of Asset and Logistics Management of RUC, the Director of the State-Owned Assets Management Office of RUC, the Director of the Admissions and Career Services Office of RUC, and the Director of the Preparatory Office for the Tongzhou Campus of RUC.

His main research interests include campus service and support systems and the management of state-owned assets.
