Zhi Xiaoqiang

Professor Zhi Xiaoqiang, born in June 1974, holds a PhD in Management and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee of Renmin University of China (RUC) and the Vice President of RUC. He also serves as the Secretary General of the National Steering Committee for Graduate Education in Accounting. 

His main research interests include corporate finance, information disclosure and management accounting. Professor Zhi is the Chief Expert of major projects of Philosophy and Social Science of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. He has led multiple national- and ministerial-level research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published dozens of academic papers in leading journals, such as Management World, Accounting Research, Journal of Financial Research, Nankai Business Review and Journal of Renmin University of China. 

Professor Zhi has received numerous honors and awards, including the First Prize and the Second Prize of National Teaching Achievement Award, the First Prize of Beijing Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award, Baosteel Outstanding Teachers Nomination Award, Distinguished Teacher of Beijing Higher Education, and National First-Class Undergraduate Courses. In addition, he has been selected for several national talent programs administered by the Ministry of Finance, including the Leading Talents in Accounting Program, the Special Support Program for the Cultivation of Leading Accounting Talents, and the Accounting Master's Cultivation Project.
