
As the Year of the Horse approaches, Party Secretary Zhang Donggang and President Ma Huaide of Renmin University of China visited the Zhongguancun and Tongzhou campuses to extend festive greetings to students staying on campus and to faculty and staff who remain at their posts during the Spring Festival.

At the Zhongguancun Campus, Zhang Donggang, along with Deputy Party Secretary Zheng Shuiquan and Wang Yi, toured campus facilities and student residences. They reviewed holiday service and safety arrangements in detail and presented New Year gift packages and warm wishes to students and staff.

“Thank you for remaining at your posts during the Spring Festival, supporting the university’s faculty and students,” said Zhang Donggang. He expressed hope that everyone would continue to ensure comprehensive service and safety support throughout the holiday, creating an even safer and more welcoming campus environment for all.

At the Tongzhou Campus, President Ma Huaide, accompanied by Vice Presidents Zhu Xinkai and Wang Xiaohu, visited the dining halls, student residences, and the Safe Campus Management Center. Expressing sincere appreciation to staff on duty, Ma thanked them for their dedication and presented New Year gift packages.

Ma and his delegation spoke with the students, asked about their holiday plans, reminded them to maintain healthy routines and stay safe, and extended festive blessings. To support students staying on campus, the university prepared special holiday meals, complimentary mobile data packages, and holiday subsidies.

In the Lide Residence Hall, international students from various countries gathered to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture. Holding up a freshly written “Fu” character, Zhang Donggang shared, “Each brushstroke carries not only New Year wishes, but also the enduring cultural heritage of Chinese civilization.”



Zhang Donggang, Ma Huaide, and other members of the university also visited retired university leaders, senior professors, and veteran Party members, thanking them for their long-standing contributions to the University’s development and extending heartfelt New Year greetings.
