[Brief Introduction]Knut Hamsun's literary career spanned multiple disciplines and intellectual movements, but does the complexity of his writing exhibit identifiable patterns? This lecture systematically examines the structural and stylistic changes in his vast body of work using information theory and fractal analysis. By exploring whether his later works reflect conceptual deepening, cognitive transformation, or textual entropy increase, and thereby re-examining the profound significance of research on the long-term developmental trajectory of writers, this data-driven study offers a novel perspective for evaluating Hamsun's intellectual journey and the patterns of coexisting continuity and transformation in his works.
