Noel Lenski is a distinguished American scholar specializing in Roman history and classical studies. He currently serves as the John L. H. Downing Professor of Classics and History at Yale University. His research focuses on the Late Roman Empire, ancient slavery, ethnic migration and interactions along Roman frontiers.
