[Speaker] Xuefeng Wang
[Introduction] Xuefeng Wang graduated from the Department of Mathematics, Peking University in 1984 and received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1990. He taught at Tulane University from 1990 to 2015 as a tenured full professor. From January 2016 to July 2019, he served at Southern University of Science and Technology as Chair Professor, First Associate Chair, and Chair of the Second Faculty Assembly. Since August 2019, he has been a Presidential Chair Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, where he has also received the Exemplary Teaching Award and served as Dean of the Graduate School. His research focuses on elliptic partial differential equations and complex elliptic PDE models.
