From March 22nd to 23rd, José Milano, the Director General of KEDGE Business School, and Guy Marcillat, the Vice Chairman of the Board, visited the Suzhou campus of Renmin University, and met up with RUC Party Committee Secretary JIN Nuo and Executive VP WANG Liming. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on strengthening the cooperation between the two schools and further developing the Sino-French Institute.
On the afternoon of the 22nd, JIN Nuo and WANG Liming held talks with José Milano and delegates in the Kaitai Lecture Hall.
JIN Nuo welcomed José Milano's visit and thanked KEDGE Business School for its continuous support since the establishment of the Sino-French Institute. JIN Nuo said that under the strong support of KEDGE Business School, Sorbonne University and Paul Valery University, the Sino-French Institute was able to achieve remarkable results. The number of student admissions rose year by year, and the student employment steadily improved. In 2015, the Sino-French Institute passed the Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Assessment given by the Ministry of Education of China; in June 2016, the Sino-French Institute won the “Award of Excellence for Cooperation between Chinese and French Universities”; in 2017, the Sino-French Institute won the “Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education in Jiangsu Province Award", for their cooperation projects there. Both RUC and KEDGE Business School continue to foster collaborative programs between China and France and hope to deepen their cooperation in the future by continuing to exchange ideas, improve the quality of both personnel training and scientific research, and strive to explore and establish new experiences by making new contributions in Sino-French cooperation in higher education.
José Milano reviewed the past cooperative projects between the two universities in preparation of furthering development with Sino-French Institute. He stated that in the past few years while jointly running the schools, China and France have, on the basis of mutual respect and mutual trust, both experienced difficulties and overcome many obstacles to finally achieve the milestones of today. On the future development with the Sino-French Institute, KEDGE Business School will further invest in quality educational resources and conduct a more in-depth cooperation with RUC to cultivate innovative financial talents coupled with social responsibility and adapt to the development of the current times. Both countries have contributed greatly to the development of their society and economy.
