Renmin University of China Unveils The Nameplate for The Mingde Academy and Mingli Academy

On the afternoon of July 6th, Renmin University of China held it’s nameplate unveiling for the new Mingde Academy and Mingli Academy.
During Liu Wei’s speech he expressed that this is not only a new establishment, but also the first time RUC has established two academies. Mingde Academy and Mingli Academy are a big step in the advancement of being a world first class undergraduate educational school. From 2009, our university has allowed students to choose their own free electives and given students the ability to choose their own major courses, and with this it will gives students more individualism and gives them more chances to learn what they want.
Liu Wei stressed that this academy reformation is a completely new talent training reformation discovery which will have excepting, Constructive, and Growing attitudes and ideals. The teachers and students from the Academy and school along with other departments must come together and work hard, they must positively solve these hardships and problems, and truly create a Chinese and RUC special high level talent training system.
