On December 19^th, the 70th Anniversary of the School of International Studies and the Workshop on China and World Politics was held. The celebrating ceremony was held at Mingde Hall. Scholars from more than 20 universities and research institutes joined the ceremony and the academic workshop. Scholars and experts from more than 20 oversea universities, including University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Yale University, Duke University, University of California San Diego and University of Tokyo, sent their congratulations to the School of International Studies of its 70th anniversary via video. The academic workshop consisted of three panels “Challenges and Future of the Discipline,” “Strategic Assessment” and “Alumni Seminar.” Participating scholars had in-deep discussions on topics of future challenges of politics and international studies, strategic adjustment of the new U.S. government, international pattern changes in the post-epidemic era, and development plan of the school of international studies.
