On September 15^th, RUC opening ceremony of 2021-2022 academic year was held. RUC President LIU Wei hosted the ceremony. Prof. LIU introduced the 8,876 first-year students, and encourage them to work hard to become a "national model and pillar of society." Prof. ZHI Xiaoqiang from RUC Business School provided a speech on behalf of RUC faculty. He encouraged students to love their studies and enjoy the process of learning. Doctoral student SUN Lin from the School of Public Administration, gave a speech as student representative. He said to the new students that there are countless possibilities in life at RUC, so students should learn to make decisions and persist on choices. The outstanding student representatives helped new students wear RUC badge. Prof. JIN Nuo, Chairwoman of RUC School board, presented “the first class of semester” for students. In accordance with the requirements of epidemic prevention, this year's opening ceremony was held separately in several venues on campus.
