Hanqing Advanced Institute of Economics and Finance Miao Meng’s academic paper “Contracting without Contracting Institutions—The “Trusted-Assistant” Loan in 19th Century China” was accepted by the A+ financial studies Journal of Financial Economics（JFE). The paper took western economics quantification methods and combined them with Chinese history research, therefore telling the story of China to the world.

This is also the eighth paper published in a international A and A+ level journal written by someone from Hanqing Advanced Institute of Economics and Finance, which has strengthened the basis of this field towards top level subject in the world.
