On March 11th, Dr. Zhang Donggang, Chair of the University Council of RUC (Renmin University of China), met with visitors from Macau University of Science and Technology, including Vice President Dr. Tang Jiale and Prof. Pang Chuan. They had a discussion on deepening the cooperation between the two universities. Prof. Du Peng, Vice President of RUC and leaders from RUC Strategic Planning Office and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office attended the meeting.

Dr. Zhang Donggang extended welcome to the delegation from MUST. He pointed out that over the years, RUC and MUST have maintained fruitful cooperative relations, forged profound friendship and carried out extensive and in-depth cooperation. He hoped that RUC and MUST would further strengthen communication between each other, and contribute to China’s active participation in international affairs in the new era and the construction of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind.

Dr. Tang thanked RUC for its long-term support and assistance to MUST. He hoped that, on the basis of the existing cooperation, RUC would continue to provide intellectual support for the high-quality development of MUST, and that the two universities can enhance cooperation in various aspects to promote further development.
