Lecture about German Ideology to be Held at RUC

Hideto Akashi, Professor of the Department of Contemporary Applied Economics, Komazawa University, will give a lecture entitled “Marx’s Theory of Alienation, Reification, and Ideology in German Ideology” from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on May 25th.
This is one of the Lecture Series by Famous Foreign Marxist Philosophers 2023, organized by the School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China (RUC). The lecture will be held in Room 600 in the Humanities Building.
Huang Zhijun, Professor of School of Philosophy, RUC, will serve as the host. And the respondent is Chen Hao, Tenured Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy, Tsinghua University.

Hideto Akashi, Ph.D. of sociology from Hitotsubashi University, is a famous young Marxist scholar in contemporary Japan studies. He is currently a professor at the Faculty of Economics at Komazawa University and the head of the Department of Modern Applied Economics.
