On the afternoon of July 11, Du Peng, Vice President of RUC, met with Katie Hrinyak, Assistant Vice President of the University of Chicago.

Du Peng welcomed the visit of Helinyak and reviewed the exchanges and cooperation between the two universities. Then, Du Peng introduced the general situation of RUC and the America-China-Europe Triple Degree in Business Program in cooperation with Luiss University in Italy and George Washington University in the U.S.

Du Peng said that the University of Chicago is a top university in the world and an important partner of RUC. The two sides should create more conditions for the exchanges between teachers and students. In the future, it is hoped that the two universities will further carry out interactions in such fields as public health, energy economy, green finance and climate change.

Katie Helinyak expressed her pleasure to visit RUC again and introduced the achievements made by the University of Chicago in recent years. She expressed the hope that the two universities will strengthen exchanges in areas of common interest and further deepen the partnership.

Then the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on joint training projects, mutual visits, scientific research cooperation, and joint conferences.
