The 31st Debate Competition Finals of Renmin University of China (RUC) successfully concluded at Mingde Hall. School of Public Administration and Policy-School of Information Resource Management team and Law School team competed fiercely in the finals. In the end, School of Public Administration and Policy-School of Information Resource Management team won the championship, and Law School team won the runner-up. Feng Shizheng, Vice President of RUC, presented awards to the two teams.

Shao Yanze, from the School of Public Administration and Policy-School of Information Resource Management team, won the titles of "Best Debater in the Whole Process" and "Best Debater in the Finals". Representatives of the judges, Professor Zhou Lian from the School of Philosophy and Associate Professor Zhao Xiaoman from the School of Journalism and Communication, presented the awards to him.

In the exhibition match, debaters from RUC and Peking University had a wonderful discussion. Xiong Yuping, secretary of the Youth League Committee, and Hong Qiao, deputy secretary of the CPC of Law School, presented commemorative trophies to them.
