Profile:
Wang Lei is Dean and Professor of the School of Animation and Digital Arts at the Communication University of China. He is also a renowned animation director and digital art creator who have won nominations and awards at numerous international film festivals and animation festivals. He was honored with Chinese Culture and Arts Government Award for Animation, 11 Outstanding Domestic Animation Awards of National Radio and Television Administration, and more than 10 Oscar qualified international animation awards. His animated works include the web series "The Mirage House in the Clouds", the television series "Kim and Jim’s Wormhole", "Wool Wool Town", and others. His digital art projects include immersive new media exhibitions such as "Cats of the East" and "Qin's Moon." In October 2023, Wang Lei and his team completed China's first AI ink animation "Dragon Gate," which won awards at multiple film festivals in Canada, Brazil, Argentina, and other countries.
