On May 20, Wang Yi, Vice President of Renmin University of China (RUC), met with Zou Ciyong, Deputy to the Director General of United Nations Industrial Development Organization(UNIDO).

Wang Yi welcomed Zou Ciyong's visit and expressed his gratitude to UNIDO for providing a practical platform for RUC students. He briefly introduced the university's predominant disciplines and basic conditions for sharing resources and achieving coordinated development with UNIDO. He pointed out that RUC highly values its friendly relations with UNIDO and hopes that the two sides will strengthen cooperation.

Zou Ciyong said that there is a broad space for cooperation between the UNIDO and RUC, and he looks forward to building more platforms for talent training and establishing broader cooperative relations with RUC through this meeting.

Zhou Dalin, Chief Technical Advisor of the Agriculture Department of UNIDO, and Sun Xianyue, Project Expert of UNIDO, accompanied the visit. Wang Xiaojun, Dean of the School of Statistics, Li Jingping, Vice Dean, Zhai Dongsheng, Vice Dean of the School of International Studies, and Wang Jianhua, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, attended the meeting.
