Prof. ZHI Xiaoqiang was born in June, 1974. He holds a PhD in Management and is a member of the Communist Party of China. He is a member of the University Council, Vice President of RUC, and the Secretary General of the National Steering Committee of Accounting Graduate Education. His main research areas are Corporate Finance, Information Disclosure and Management Accounting.

ZHI Xiaoqiang is the Chief Expert of major research projects of Philosophy and Social Science of the Ministry of Education, leading multiple national and provincial-level research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published dozens of papers in core journals, such as Management World, Accounting Research, Journal of Financial Research, Nankai Business Review and Journal of Renmin University of China. As recipient of numerous awards, he has claimed the First Prize and Second Prize of National Teaching Achievement Award, the First Prize of Beijing Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award, Baosteel Outstanding Teachers Nomination Award, Distinguished Teacher of Beijing Higher Education, and National First-Class Undergraduate Courses. In addition, He has been appointed by the Ministry of Finance to the Leading Talents in Accounting program, the Special Support Program for Accounting Leading Talents Cultivation, and the Accounting Masters Cultivation Project.
