From June 19th to 23rd, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, Zhu Xinkai, Executive Vice President of RUC led a delegation to visit France.

On June 20th, Renmin University of China, Sun Yat-sen University, EM Lyon Business School and KEDGE Business School jointly held a conference titled "Starting a New Journey of China-France Cultural Exchange". Zhu Xinkai delivered a speech entitled "Promoting the Deep Integration of 'Artificial Intelligence+Social Sciences'". He said that artificial intelligence and social sciences are moving towards deep integration, RUC is exploring a new path of "AI+" in higher education development.

On June 21st, the first China-France Education Development Forum was held in Paris. Zhu Xinkai attended the forum and exchanged views with government and university representatives from China and France.

Zhu Xinkai visited KEDGE Business School and met with its president, Alexandre de NAVAILLES. The two sides reached consensus on the establishment of a research center for exchange and mutual learning of China-France civilizations and cooperation in talent training programs.

During the visit, Zhu Xinkai also met with Jean-Christophe Bureau, a professor of Paris-Saclay University, and the two sides discussed issues such as launching cooperative research on agriculture and development economics between China and France.

In addition, Zhu Xinkai met with representatives of alumni in France and exchanged views on topics such as the China-French education system. He expressed the hope that alumni could build a bridge for exchanges between China and France and promote the development of RUC's cooperation with France. The delegation also visited friendly institutions and partner universities such as Sciences Po Paris.

Representatives from International Office, Suzhou Campus, and School of Agricultural and Rural Development accompanied the visit.
