Lecturer
Hans Feger, born in 1956, is a German philosopher and literary scholar. He is currently a professor at Freie Universität Berlin, where he mainly teaches philosophy and German studies. Since 2004, Professor Feger has been teaching at the Institute of Philosophy at Freie Universität Berlin, focusing on the moral philosophy and aesthetics of German Idealism, as well as German literature, especially the philosophy of the Enlightenment, Classicism, and Romanticism. He also conducts research in literary theory, aesthetics, and classical modernism. Professor Feger actively promotes dialogue between Western and Asian philosophies and has collaborated with many internationally renowned scholars, especially those from China. Since 2015, Professor Hans Feger has been the director of the Sino-German Center at Freie Universität Berlin.
