Hungary is an important country along the “Belt and Road” and a key participant in the China-Central and Eastern Europe cooperation mechanism. This series of lectures focuses on the evolution of Hungarian civilization. Three professors from Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary are invited to give special academic lectures on topics such as Hungary and the Classical World, the historical periodization of medieval Hungary, and Hungary in the global history perspective, in order to help promote the exchange, mutual learning and cooperation between the civilizations of China and Hungary.

Adam Rung, Lecturer at the Department of Classics at Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary. His main research areas are Latin language and culture and ancient Roman literature, mythology and religion.
