About the speaker:
Marcello Mustè, an
Italian philosopher and a professor of theoretical philosophy at the University
of Rome. He serves as a member of the Scientific Council of the Gramsci
Foundation, a member of the Scientific Committee for the National Edition of
Gramsci's Works, and an editorial board member of journals such as the Italian
Philosophy, the Italian Journal of Philosophical Criticism, and the Yearbook
of the Gramsci Foundation. His main research areas include Italian Marxist
philosophy, practical philosophy, and German philosophy. In addition, he has
authored several works, including Marxism and Practical Philosophy, The Passive Revolution: The World Between the Two World Wars in Gramsci's Prison
Notebooks, and Between Philosophy and Historiography: Hegel, Croce, and
Other Studies.
