RUC Welcome International Students in New Semester
On February 17, 2025, Renmin University of China (RUC) welcomed new international students from 15 countries on its Zhongguancun Campus. Coming from France, South Korea, Norway, Italy, Russia, Singapore, Germany, and Australia, these new students gather on the RUC campus to embark on a new learning journey. Next week, Suzhou Campus of RUC, which houses the Sino-French Institute, will also welcome over 60 international students for registration.
The International Students Office offered the full range of assistance under the meticulous organization. From filling out enrollment forms, purchasing health insurance for international students in China, to paying tuition fees, handling visa procedures, and receiving campus cards, each step was carried out in an orderly manner. The one-stop offline registration process greeted new international friends with convenience.
A team of volunteers composed of both Chinese and international students participated throughout. Volunteers patiently answered the students' questions, ensuring every student could take the first step in their academic life at RUC. They not only provided detailed and enthusiastic guidance but also showcased the spirit of RUC students, adding a touch of warmth to the campus.
A series of colorful welcome activities are waiting for foreign guests, including orientation classes, visits to the "Beijing Central Axis" for cultural studies, and field trips to the Great Wall. These activities will not only help the international students gain a deeper understanding of Beijing's history and culture but also assist them in better adapting to their studies and life in China.
As spring arrives, the new students will write their own wonderful chapters on the RUC campus. A new semester, a new atmosphere, and a new journey.
