From November 20^th to 25^th, RUC’s Department of Foreign Languages and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) jointly held the DAAD annual meeting at Renmin University of China. Over 60 German lecturers working in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Mongolia attended the event. RUC’s DAAD instructor, Almut Klepper-Pang, presided over the opening ceremony, held at RUC’s Yifu Hall on the first morning of the meeting. Catrin Czyganowski of the Department for Cultural Affairs at the German Embassy in Beijing joined the ceremony. Renmin University of China seeks to strengthen Sino-German academic collaboration and welcomed this opportunity to act as host and co-organizer of the DAAD 2015 annual meeting.
