RUC’s Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies Holds High-level Dialogue on “One Belt, One Road”

On December 1st, a high-level dialogue meeting on China’s “One Belt, One Road” initiative convened in Beijing. The meeting, which focused on the different countries along the so-called “Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road,” was jointly sponsored by the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, the Asian Peace and Reconciliation Council, and Renmin University's Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies. Dignitaries from Pakistan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Finland and other countries attended the meeting. 素拉杰·沙田泰副本 At the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Asian Peace and Reconciliation Council and former Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, Surakiart Sathirathai, cited a famous Chinese idiom about about the supreme virtuousness of water and how it brings benefits to the multitudes along its banks.
