At the end of a long, competitive tournament, RUC’s billiards team seized first prize in the Capital Universities Billiards Competition. Eight Chinese universities competed in the tournament, which got underway last November: Beijing University, Qinghua University, Renmin University of China, Beijing University of Aeronotics and Astronautics, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing Forestry University, and Communication University of China. RUC’s team offered a fine performance over the seven-week competition, with team coach and national player HAN Haoxiang earning the distinction of top player of the tournament.
