On the 6^th of March, President Bing-Jean Lee of Taiwan’s Feng Chia University and delegation visited RUC. He was met by University Council Chairwoman JIN Nuo and vice President YI Zhihong. During the meeting, Chairwoman JIN commented that Feng Chia University is RUC’s important collaborative partner in Taiwan. For a long time both universities have maintained close ties, based in student and academic exchange programs. She concluded, expressing hope that both sides would continue to build on the strong foundation of cooperation, to enable both universities to continue to develop academically into the future. President LEE then expressed his thanks to RUC on behalf of Feng Chia University. He agreed that both universities did indeed have a strong relationship founded in a long history of student and academic exchanges. He concluded by expressing hope that their academic work would lead to solving some of the important social issues faced by society in the present era. Following the meeting, they held further discussions on the student exchange program. Also present at the meeting were the International Office Director ZHANG Xiaojing, Dean’s Office Deputy XUAN Tianying, and School of Commerce Council member YE Kangtao.
