On March 20th, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) Vice President JIANG Jinfa and delegation visited RUC. RUC Chairwoman JIN Nuo met with VP JIANG and Vice President WU Xiaoqiu to discuss both parties’ roles in the development of a modern finance research institute at JUFE.
RUC Chairwoman JIN Nuo expressed that RUC has actively strived for academic excellence and student development which in turn has benefited the local community by promoting its economy and social development. Jiangxi province is rich in resources, thus there are good prospects for rapid social and economic development. She hoped that RUC could refine its framework of cooperation with Jiangxi and spoke of sustaining efforts in supporting JUFE to build a modern finance research institute. Further, she hoped that both universities can deepen their communication and broaden their cooperation in academia, student development, scientific research, and exchanges in the future.
JUFE Vice President JIANG Jinfa too hoped that they could set a more concrete framework of cooperation between RUC and Jiangxi province. He noted that JUFE is recognized for its talented people and outstanding services that have aided in the industrial development of Jiangxi. He agreed in taking advantage of this opportunity to build a modern finance institute, and deepen communications and cooperation with RUC, to further aid in the social and economic development of Jiangxi province.
After, both parties agreed to discuss in depth the details of their cooperation.
JUFE Vice President WU Xiaoqiu expressed that RUC attaches great importance to the development of both universities and highly supports the construction of a modern finance institute. He hopes that both schools will pool resources, and lay a solid foundation for academics, strengthening the teaching staff, improving academic research, and developing broader cooperation and exchange, to further improve the economic and social development of Jiangxi province.
JUFE Vice President JIANG Jinfa pointed out that RUC and JUFE already have a solid foundation for cooperation, and hopes that in the next step of cooperation, both sides will deal with concrete issues related with work, set up and construct a platform where RUC can aid in the economic and social development of Jiangxi, promote policy making, and personnel training, and at the same time cultivate even more of tomorrow’s leaders in finance and banking.
Both sides agreed to work together in the areas of scientific and research, academic exchange, personnel training, and resolve any core issues that may come up.
Director of JUFE Scientific Research Office KUANG Xiaoping, School of Finance and Economics Dean ZHANG Wangyang, RUC Assistant to the President GUO Honglin, and other distinguished representatives of JUFE and RUC were also in attendance.
