On April 11-12, RUC Executive Vice Chairman ZHANG Jianming and delegation visited Chengdu, Sichuan to conduct research and promote deeper cooperation of the provinces with the universities and conduct exchanges with leaders of CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, Sichuan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, and Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Financial Work, in addition to observing the work done by alumni representatives.

On April 11-12, RUC Executive Vice Chairman ZHANG Jianming met with Vice Minister of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee Organization DENG Tao, Sichuan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology Chief ZHOU Siyuan, and Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Financial Work Director Ouyang Zehua and Deputy Director General WANG Lin discussed exchange. On behalf of RUC, he extended his thanks to the Provincial Party Committee, Department for Cultural Affairs and temporary posts of teachers of RUC. Director ZHOU praised RUC professor PENG Yi for his work, and expressed hope that they have more cooperation with RUC, and use Sichuan Cultural Innovation Product Research Institution exchange platform to improve their level of cooperation. RUC professor and Sichuan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology Deputy Director PENG Yi introduced the current work developments. Sichuan Institute members and other colleagues attended the meeting.

During the trip, RUC Executive Vice Chairman ZHANG Jianming also visited the work done by Sichuan alumni representatives, who introduced the current developments and achievements of the school in recent years and preparations for RUC’s 80^th anniversary. He invited alumni to return to their alma mater, encouraging them to carry forward the spirit of RUC by contributing to the economic and social development of Sichuan province.
