On May 25, Taiwan Donghua University (DHU) Vice President ZHU Jingpeng and delegation visit RUC, meeting with RUC Vice President YI Zhihong.
VP YI Zhihong extended a warm welcome to DHU Vice President ZHU Jingpeng, and introduced RUC and DHU’s partnership. She expressed that RUC and DHU have a very solid foundation of exchanges, and hopes that both universities will continue to strengthen their academic exchange and take the next steps towards expanding collaboration and setting up new cooperation projects.
DHU Vice President ZHU Jingpeng recalled DHU and RUC’s partnership, noting that DHU was established in 1994, located in Hualian, and was Taiwan’s first capital integrated university. When DHU was established, both sides worked to develop academic research, student exchanges in various domains. DHU has taken many chances to visit RUC and continue to gain deeper cooperation in exchanges on both sides.
RUC Taiwan and Macau Office Director ZHANG Xiaojing, Faculty of Public Administration Deputy Secretary WANG Dan also attended the meeting.
After the meeting, the delegation and Faculty of Public Administration discussed in depth exchanges, and how both sides would work together to improve academic research, teacher exchanges, student exchange, research projects, and develop more opportunities for interexchange and other related matters.
