On April 7, RUC convened a special topics forum to explore implementation of CPC Central Committee’s Eight Provisions. RUC Deputy Secretary WU Fulai presided over the meeting.
RUC Deputy Secretary WU Fulai pointed out that this forum would embrace the Eight Provisions and improve eight aspects of their work approach, including rejecting extravagance, formalism and bureaucratism. He stated that it is very important to strengthen and improve the University’s discipline inspection committee and hopes that the work can start from personnel, that they can provide suggestions and opinions on how to integrate fully, implement, and realize the Eight Provisions.
At the Forum, 18 representatives from schools, representatives from academia, and representatives of teachers and administration, as well as student representatives respectively were in attendance and gave short statements. Everyone was asked to carry out the Eight Provisions, and introduce the main methods and features of how they would implement their improvements and suggestions in view of the main issues. Student representatives shared their insights and suggestions to relevant departments in regards to the next steps that need to be taken to adhere to and carry out the Eight Provisions.
