On November 12^th, the School of Chinese Studies and Cultural Exchange held an online seminar on “Master Program of International Chinese Education: Education Mode and Overseas Market" in cooperation with Comillas Pontifical University. Basing on their own teaching practices, delegates from the two schools had in-depth discussions on the following topics: international Chinese education as a master program, cultivation of cross-cultural communication abilities for Chinese teachers, current situation of Chinese teaching in Spain, new methods of Chinese teaching for students at different age levels, the teaching order of pinyin and Chinese characters, and the application of electronic technology in Chinese teaching. The seminar consisted of two sections. In the first section of the seminar, five representatives from Comillas University introduced their master program of international Chinese language education, as well as the current situation of Chinese language teaching in Spain. In the second part, five teachers from the School of Chinese Studies and Cultural Exchange presented characteristics of the master program of international Chinese education at Renmin University of China.
