Prof. PRENCIPE introduced the background and goals of SSUN, while emphasizing the importance of exploring interdisciplinary development in social sciences in digital age of uncertainties.
The Social Sciences Universities Network (SSUN) is the world's first association of universities in the field of humanities and social sciences, jointly initiated by RUC and LUISS. The network aims at promoting cooperation among member universities in talents training, academic innovation, policy consulting and cultural communication. The network will be committed to integrating high-quality academic resources around the world, improving discipline evaluation systems, enhancing global influence of universities and colleges in humanities and social sciences, and providing a platform for the development of studies in humanities and social sciences. It will be an important supplement to the Worldwide Universities Network.
