2020 Forum on Education, Women and Sustainable Development was Held at RUC

On December 22nd, the 2020 Forum on Education, Women and Sustainable Development was Held at RUC. in order to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 1995 World Conference on Women held in Beijing, and to share China's experience in education poverty alleviation, the theme of this year’s forum was "Education Poverty Alleviation and Women's Development.” The forum was hosted by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) and Renmin University of China, organized by Experts Committee on Education, Women and Sustainable Development, RUC International Office and the School of Education. In order to further strengthen its academic power, the Experts Committee on Education, Women and Sustainable Development appointed Prof. TAN Lin, Vice Chairwoman of Chinese Women’s Research Society (WRS), and Prof. ZHEN Zhen, delegate of the 13th National People's Congress, as new members of the committee. (CEAIE President Dr. LIU Limin Issued letter of appointment for newly appointed expert committee member) In June 2019, the Expert Committee on Education, Women and Sustainable Development was established on the 7th Executive Council of China Education Association for International Exchange. Prof JIN Nuo, Chairwoman of the RUC University Council, serves as the Director of the Expert Committee. Since its establishment, the Committee has been committed to bringing together professionals to carry out academic research, policy interpretation and policy publicity.
