On April 10th, the cultural and creative product workshop held by RUC Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation came to an end. Launching the project in last November, the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation has organized 10 serial lectures online and offline. More than two hundred students have participated in the lectures, practical training, individual mentoring and other activities.

The Cultural and Creative Product Workshop aims to help students understand the overall design and production process in the cultural and creative products industry. Through communication and teamwork, students can further improve their artistic skills and open up new career possibilities.

MA Zongtao, undergraduate student from the School of Marxism, introduced his work: "my forest deer tote bag sets a Christmas vibe, with green background and a red ink batik elk in the center. The dark green tile and vivid red batik have a strong visual impact, as if the elk is leaping into the forest.”
ZHANG Ziqi, undergraduate student from the School of Art, gained inspiration from the animal face patterns on the ancient bronze wares. “As I have always been obsessed with the color green, bronze wares attract me most among the ancient Chinese heritages,” she said. In her work, she simplified the complex ancient patterns, keeping only the most prominent elements, including a vertical central line, symmetrical eyes, and some classical Chinese bronze ware patterns.
