On May 24^th-30th, the 4^th Renmin University of China Technology Culture Week was held. This year’s Technology Culture Week was sponsored by RUC Association for Science and Technology and RUC Office of Discipline Development in Science and Technology, and was organized by RUC School of Statistics. RUC President LIU Wei and student representatives announced the opening of the RUC Technology Culture Week. On the opening ceremony, students and teachers who had won awards in science and technology competitions and activities domestic and abroad were awarded certificates of honor. During a week’s time, a series of activities were successively held, including exhibition of Chinese scientists, technology experience fair, serial science lectures, themed film festival, and laboratory open day. This year’s exhibition of Chinese scientists displayed the growing stories of Chinese scientific and technological workers of different generations, as well as their dedication to science and the development of China. The technology experience fair provided close encounter with various technology products such as statistical interaction, mathematical games, artificial intelligence, digital archaeology, smart classroom and health monitoring devices.
