On May 13th, the International Conference on the 20th Anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization: to a Community with a Common Future for Green, Healthy and Universal Development was held at Renmin University of China. It was the first international academic conference themed on the 20th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, also one of the serial activities leading up to the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) to be held in Kunming this year. This conference was held by RUC National Academy of Development and Strategy and CASS Institute of Russian, Eastern European & Central Asian Studies, and co-organized by RUC School of International Studies. The Conference offered trilingual simultaneous translations in Chinese, English and Russian. The conference consisted of three panels: 1. 20-year SCO: Achievements and Experiments, 2. Joining the SCO Forces to Promote Green Recovery, 3. Strengthening Cooperation in Health, Security and Cultural Exchange.
