On May 15th, 2021 China-US Public Diplomacy Summit was held at Renmin University of China. It was the 6^th China-US Public Diplomacy Summit held since 2015, and the theme of this year was "Strengthen Pluralistic Exchanges and Advance Mutually Beneficial Cooperation.” The summit was organized by RUC National Academy of Development and Strategy, and supported by China Diplomacy Association and RUC School of Journalism and Communication. The summit consisted of three sessions: 1. The Role, Status and Development of China-US Pluralistic Public Diplomacy, 2. China and US: A Shared Vision for Carbon Neutrality, 3. China-US Subnational Exchanges and Economic Cooperation. More than 30 well-known experts, scholars and thought leaders from the political, academic, business and media circles of both countries exchanged views on the session topics. The forum was held both on-site and online, and was live broadcast in both Chinese and English via Baidu App, China.org.cn and other online media platforms. Nearly half a million audience audited the forum online. This year’s meeting invited scholars from to Harvard University, Yale University, University of Washington in st. Louis, the US-China Business Council, the US State Legislative Leaders Foundation, California Senate, Brookings Institution, Pacific Council on International Policy, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars, Hong Kong Institute of International Finance, China Public Diplomacy Association, Peking University, Tsinghua university, Renmin University of China, China Foreign Affairs University, China International Publishing Group, China National Development and Reform Commission Energy Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Center for China and Globalization. Through communication and dialogue, participants enhanced mutual understanding between China and the United States, and put forward innovative ideas advance China-US relations in a healthy and stable development.
