On September 11^th-12^th local time, the Confucius Institute at Leipzig held activities to experience Chinese culture. A themed festival was held in the  Kolonnadenstrasse neighborhood, and another cultural experience activity was held in the local Grassi Museum. On the afternoon of September 11^th, the Confucius Institute at Leipzig completed the layout of the cultural booths in the neighborhood, attracting many residents' attention. Experience activities included traditional Chinese calligraphy, shuttlecock kicking, and tangram games. On the morning of September 12^th, staff of the Confucius Institute prepared Chinese knot weaving, paper folding, wood printing and other activities for visitors at the Grassi Museum. Calligraphy teachers of the Confucius Institute also showed the charm of Chinese calligraphy to residents. They taught children to write their names in Chinese to experience the fun of writing Chinese characters. At the end of the event, many participants expressed their gratitude to the Confucius Institute staff, saying that Chinese culture is profound and time-honored. They benefited a lot from the experience of the event.
