The 2021 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit Was Held

On September 27th, the 2021 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit was held in Wuzhen, China. The summit was sponsored by Renmin University of China and China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and organized by China Federation of Internet Societies and RUC School of Education. The theme of this year's summit was "Internet + Education: Encourage Win-win Cooperation to Promote Innovative Development of Digital Education." Prof, ZHENG Shuiquan, Vice Chairman of the University Council, proposed a long-term cooperative partnership to realize the mutual benefit of global education. In the first dialogue of the summit, scholars had deep discussions on promoting the balanced development of education with science and technology. In the second discussion at the summit, participants discussed innovation, new direction of future education, and new opportunities for education policy innovation in terms of practice, theory, and policy. More than 100 Chinese and foreign government officials, experts and scholars, Internet practitioners, social organizations, enterprises, and media representatives attended the summit both online and offline to respond to education issues of common concern to society.
