From November 4th to the 6th, the 3rd China-Japan Forum on Smart Senior Care was held at Renmin University of China. The forum was put on by RUC Smart Senior Care Research Center, the Smart Senior Care Forum, and Waseda University Electronics Politics Research Center, and sponsored by the China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics association.

The China-Japan Forum on Smart Senior Care was started in 2017, and is an academic bridge between China and Japan. Japan is a country with one of the biggest problems with aging, so Japan has a lot of experience with senior care and senior services. China has one of the fastest aging societies in the world, and has been continuously innovating and perfecting information and technology. China and Japan both hope to help each other with production, study and research to solve the problem of aging.
