On December 12th, “The Theory and Practice of Socialism around World in the 21st Century World” International Academic Conference was held at Renmin University of China. The forum focused on “The Path of Socialism: History, Experience and Inspirations”, “Socialism Systems, Theory and National Experience”, “Socialist Reformation and National Governing”, “Socialist Party Systems and National Political Development”. The topics were discussed from the point of economic construction, party politics, social development, reformation practices and many more. Everyone summarized the world socialist movement and socialist reform, reformation, construction history experience, and hope socialism will develop in the 21st century.

Over 10 oversees experts from Vietnam, Cuba, Brazil, Argentine, Nepal, Zimbabwe, and Australia, and over 100 well-known scholars and young scholars from over 30 universities, also reporters, and teachers and students from the school of Marxism at RUC all took part in the conference.

In the afternoon, there were three small group meetings, the Small group meeting topics were: “Socialist Systems, Theories and National Experience”, “Socialism Re-formations and National Governing”, “Socialism Party System and National Political Development”.
