On October 19th, the School of Liberal Arts of Renmin University of China and Queen Mary University of London held an online video conference on deepening future cooperation. Professor Yang Qingxiang, Associate Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, and Ms. Clare Burke, Head of International Partnerships at Queen Mary University of London, attended the conference along with other officials from the two universities.
The two sides first discussed the impact of the epidemic on the academic visits of students. Then Doctor Penelope Woods from Queen Mary University of London briefly introduced the student training modes at Queen Mary University of London, after which the two sides discussed possible cooperative projects in the future. In the end, the two sides exchanged ideas on the enrollment promotion of Queen Mary University of London and the arrangement of mutual visits after the epidemic.
Professor Yang said that the School of Liberal Arts of Renmin University of China attaches great importance to talent cultivation and international cooperation, and he hopes that both sides will take this opportunity to further expand the areas of bilateral cooperation. Ms. Burke invited Renmin University of China for a return visit to Queen Mary University of London, and she expects further collaboration between the two universities in the future.
